1990
The company Elschukom GmbH is founded as a joint venture by the companies Pudenz and Porzellanwerke Veilsdorf with a nominal capital of 500000,- DM.
1995
After the successful Management.Buy-In / Buy-Out business continues under the new shareholders Dr.-Ing. Karl Poerschke, Dipl.-Ing. Johannes Teutsch and Dipl.-Ing. Manfred Thauer.
1996
The initial DIN ISO 9001 certification is achieved.
1997
As the current manufacturing facility along the Schwarzer Weg in Veilsdorf becomes to space restricted for the growing company the new lot at the Gewerbestrasse is acquired. In the coming months the 20 year old building on this lot is partly renovated providing for sufficient manufacturing and office space including the required infrastructure.

1998
Production in the completed facility begins. This move definitely marks the strategic entry into the wire plating market with the acquisition of two high performance plating lines. During the remainder of the year the grounds are improved and the parking lot as well as the access road are completed..
1999 - 2001
During this time the annealing and drawing capacity are expanded by over 500% each. In parallel improvements in quality assurance are achieved by the introduction of in-line laser measurements, installation of automated equipment for characteristics testing as well as of a microscope including special camera.

2002 - 2005
The now generated bottleneck plating capacity is addressed and expanded in multiple steps by more than 400%. Associated with this expansion the copper plating process is introduced to supplement the already existing tinning process. In November 2005 Dipl.-Ing. Ute Poerschke joins the management team.

2006
At the beginning of the year Dipl.-Ing Johannes Teutsch retires from the company as general manager as well as shareholder. In production the annealing capacity is increased by another 40% and the production of inert gas for implemented in-house.
2007
To achieve smoothing of the nominal capital it is increased from DM500.000,- to €260.000,- while in production the urgently required increase in flexibility of drawing capacity is achieved by the acquisition of precision despooling equipment. On 17.8. general manager and shareholder Dr.-Ing. Karl Poerschke passes away. The changes in ownership and management team that become necessary afterwards are completed by the end of the year. The management team now consists of Dipl.-Ing. Ute Poerschke and Dipl.-Ing. Manfred Thauer. The company itself is still completely privately owned by the families Poerschke and Thauer.
2008
In May of this year the reconstruction of the facility in Veilsdorf is started and mostly completed by the end of December. In the course of the reconstruction efforts the chemical lab is established and the freight elevator is put into operation.
